Our New GE Appliances:Dishwasher Edition

We are a long time GE appliance customers. The dishwasher we purchased was our second choice since the one we wanted was back ordered. It is pretty standard. I do like the 1 hour wash cycle feature. The overall quality is ok but definitely not as good as our previous machines. The rack material is super light weight almost flimsy. Don’t pull them out quickly or they will go flying off the rails. The cutlery basket was hopeless. Just three big open areas. I went ahead and bought a better one online that separates the items for better cleaning.

Quick Use but not good

The dishwasher is small and quick to use but lacks any innovation or designs for better use eg. Open baskets for the spoons instead of individual slots… few others as well. I got this with my house otherwise I would not have bought it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just because it is new.....

I bought a new home and my dishwasher was included but I didn't get a choice. I never would have bought this model as it seems to be the bottom of the line. Very cheaply made. You can tell just by opening the door. I love GE but I wouldn't buy this model.

Dish washer doesn't work

Installed dish washer in new house - went to turn it on and it doesn't work. Called GE and they can't get anyone out to even look at it until next month.
