I don’t even know if it’s clean. It’s all plastic inside and out. Came with the house. It’s smelly makes the dishes smell like chemicals. I’ve ran it a few times, thoroughly cleaned it. Idk what’s up with it it’s the plastic on the inside I believe.

Hello- Thanks so much for reaching out. We are happy to help! Odors associated with new appliances are normal. The processes used during manufacturing often may leave a "newness" odor that may not dissipate until after several washing cycles. This condition is completely normal. You can alleviate this condition by running the dishwasher through several cycles using detergent. If you continue to have issues, please reach out to GE Consumer Service at 1-800-432-2737. Thank you! Joyce@GEA
Door leaks from the bottom. All seals seem to be in place. It's a shame to have a brand new dishwasher that you can't use without ruining your floor and cabinets....

it does the job, It is a noisy cycle. i looked for a noise muffling add on, but they don’t make them. There remains a weeping of water on the walls when the cycle is finished. i have to prop it open for a few hours to dry out.

It is recommended to leave the dishwasher open after the cycle completes for proper drying. This is a part of the normal functioning.

I want to love it but I don’t. I do like that it doesn’t leave major residue on the dishes whether you use liquid or pods as the cleaner. It does get the job done. There’s no standing water in the bottom and the heater definitely dries the dishes.
This dishwasher is just okay. It came with my new home. I cannot wait to get an upgrade. It is not the best wash. Spots are on my glassses and I have to run it agian. So, I’m not saving much energy.

Hey there, and thanks for letting us know about your experience. We hate to hear you’re dissatisfied with the wash performance of this model – we know an issue with spots on your glasses would be concerning, and that’s not the performance we expect; we regret any inconvenience caused.
You may want to make sure your water is at least 120 degrees F to ensure proper performance, and we recommend use of a high quality rinse aid. We have additional troubleshooting tips, regarding spots on glasses as well as other topics, in the manual. The troubleshooting section starts on page 19 and is available here: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-4000218-2.pdf&_ .
We hope the information in the manual will be helpful with addressing this concern. If you have any other concerns or questions, we are happy to offer assistance any time. -Sarah@GEA
