Cheap and broken plastic components

We purchased a new home with this dishwasher installed. The upper spray arm keeps falling off. The plastic was broken and we need to purchase a replacement part before even washing the first load. We also noticed that many parts are discontinued for this model, so it seems like something will break soon and we will have to throw this washer in the trash soon.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Loud, buttons on front are too easy to hit when closing. Bottom rack is hard to pull in and out!

Poor cleaning

It doesn’t clean that well . Also the racks are already rusting “both top and bottom rack”. Very Loud and the door seal keeps popping off, so you have to check to and make sure it’s on right before you start it or it will leak.

The dishwasher washes well, but it is very loud and gets very hot causing the granite countertop above it to also get very hot. Cycles are very long.

However, we do hate to hear you have concerns over the noise level, how hot the dishwasher and surrounding countertop get, and the length of the cycles. We know issues like those may be worrying.

This dishwasher is designed to provide as quiet and peaceful a washing experience as possible, and is meant to have a sound level of 59 dBAs (just above the noise made by moderate rainfall). We regret that this amount of noise was inconvenient for you, and will certainly let our Dishwasher Design team know of your feedback regarding this and the concerns over heat and cycle length for future consideration and review. Your insights about the model are valued, as we always want to make sure we’re aware what our consumers think of our models.

Regarding the cycle time, we do have a Time Saver cycle, meant for light to medium soiled dishes, that lasts about 1 hour. No stop or reset button. I’m sure there is some special combinations of buttons one pushes to make it stop/reset, but that’s too much to worry with when just wanting to change the wash mode.

Hello there, we're sorry this machine doesn't have a Stop or Reset button. If this is something you're used to, we can certainly understand how this would be frustrating. To cancel a wash cycle, press and hold the Start pad for 3 seconds and close door. The dishwasher will drain, emit a beep sound, and the wash cycle light will turn off.
