Utter Piece of Junk

I remodeled my kitchen and so regret just telling my contractor to find a dishwasher in my price range instead of doing thorough research myself. The ONLY positive thing about it is that it runs relatively quiet. But there is nothing else of any value in this thing. Unlike my old dishwasher, this one is almost all plastic, and cheap plastic at that. The racks are configured so they only hold certain items, mainly flat dishes, and if you want to put bowls or pots and pans, the rack isn't conducive for them at all. And if you put things with rims, like skillets or storage containers, it doesn't clean them fully. Worst of all, it doesn't dry for jack. Even on the high dry setting, more than 12 hours after running the washer, the walls and more than half the items inside are still coated with condensation. The instructions actually recommend running it on low dry and then leave the door open to finish drying. Are you freakin' kidding me? Leave the door open is their grand plan to dry the dishes? It's obviously a known manufacturing defect they let go and threw a stupid answer in the instructions. I wouldn't recommend this piece of garbage to anyone.

Thanks for leaving a review. We appreciate your comments on this dishwasher and apologize if it hasn't met your expectations. Not being able to fit your dishes in this model comfortably can be frustrating, and we'd like to help with this issue. We suggest looking in the Use and Care manual on page 11 for tips on loading your dishwasher. Here's a link you can use as well:
If your dishes aren't drying properly, you may have a low inlet water temperature. Please make sure the inlet water temperature is at least 120 degrees Fahrenheit. You can find more troubleshooting tips on page 20 of this manual as well. Thanks again for sharing. We hope this helps. -Sylvia@GEA

Good day,
Our deepest apologies to hear that the spray arm on your dishwasher broke and melted. That's definitely not something we expect and understand your frustration. We do see that you recently had a service appointment and trust the tech was able to repair your dishwasher. If you need anything else, please let us know. Well wishes. Mike@GEA
