Plenty of space (there's 2 in our household) for dishes, pots and pans, etc. Good clean layout. Not as noisy as we were expecting (bonus!). Simple layout, simple use button pushing. Good pricepoint. Extremely happy with our purchase and happy to have GE as an option as we've had great long term success with GE products.

We are still using soap we had from our former dishwasher so we have had to make some adjustments . We will switch to the recommended soap when the other is used.

Hi - Thank you for posting a review on your new dishwasher. We're sorry to hear you may be having an issue with the dry performance and we want to help with the following suggestions: Make sure the water entering the dishwasher is a minimum of 120 degrees F. We do recommend using a Rinse Aid as it helps prevent moisture from clinging to dishes. Be sure to choose available options like Wash TempBoost and one of the Dry Boost options. These suggestions will improve your dry performance. For additional information see -- https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17451 -- We hope this is helpful. Kind Regards - Vikki@GEA

Door is sometimes hard to shut
on October 30, 2021

It does it's job. The heat setting for drying doesn't work as well. Sometimes our dishes (tupperware containers, larger pots and pans, and some items on the top rack) are still wet despite using the heat setting for the drying cycle. The door is also a bit hard to close at times. Have to give it a little push. It does NOT show what part of the cycle it's on, which kind of stinks as that helps me determine how long the load is going to take, and if I need to handwash something or not.

Hi there! Thank you for the feedback on your dishwasher! We're sorry it's not getting those dishes dry like it should. For the best drying performance, we recommend making sure the incoming water is at least 120 degrees. Be sure to use any setting that adds heat or dry features like your Dry Boost. Finally, using a high quality rinse aid goes a long way in getting that water off your clean dishes.
If the door is hard to shut, make sure the unit was installed properly and leveled. The door may be hitting the counter or cabinets or the racks could be rolling out if the dishwasher is not level. We hope this helps! – John@GEA
