unfortunately I don't recommend this

although the dishwasher was "new" I didn't have much faith in the performance due to an issue with GE appliance I owned years ago.. unfortunately, this dishwasher doesn't work properly at all.. never dries the dishes, pots and pans are never really clean (constantly have water spots, detergent residue on everything.. today I noticed an odor similar to burning rubber but don't see any damage but doesn't mean there isn't a problem
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very unsatisfied with this dishwasher

This dishwasher came as part of the package with a home that we built. It is only two years old and the whole inside is totally rusted out already. I’ve been reading other reviews online and apparently this is a common problem with this model. Unfortunately, this dishwasher only has a one-year warranty and as soon as I saw the rust in year one I wish I would’ve called and had it replaced. Unfortunately now at year three I am stuck with this dishwasher that’s totally rusted out and I have to purchase a new one do yourself a favor and don’t purchase this dishwasher.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I never buy GE crap products. This came with the house I bought. It 's a brand new dishwasher and it has started leaking. Don't every buy ANYTHING from GE.

This unit has many features that we are sure you will enjoy. We're pretty fond of the piranha hard food disposer. It has a stainless steel blade that rotates at 3,600 RPM, preventing large particles from clogging the wash arms and ensuring consistently clean dishes!

Good dishwasher for the price

Have only run it a few times since purchasing, but does a decent job of cleaning the dishes. Is noisier than I'd like when running. This is a no-frills dishwasher, but overall is good for the price.
