Horrible dishwasher - noisy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The washer is a cheap, plastic lined, noise maker. The wheels fell off the bottom rack & broke, after 4 uses. Very, very, very disappointed with it. The serviceman will be back, over & over again!

We were able to locate your case and see that you have been working with a member of our team and were able to get service scheduled. We are confident our service team will be able to help! Regarding the noise we would like to provide some information to help. There are many normal sounds you can hear from a Dishwasher. Some sounds are normal, while others may be abnormal but have easy solutions. We have an article on our website titled "Dishwasher - Normal and Abnormal Noises" that we will link below- https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=38923
The dishwasher rack has a serious rusting problem. The rack is of poor quality, and the coating is starting to peel off, causing it to rust. It has caused some of my plates to get rust stains. We have had another dishwasher before this one, and we never experienced this problem before.

Bought a home with this dishwasher already installed. It does seem to clean fairly well, but the run cycle is really long compared to my old apartment grade dishwasher. Also doesn't dry very well. Had to turn off the "dry boost" setting as it melts plastics (reusable straws, water Bottle, cup lids). Also don't love the capacity of the dish washer. Maybe I'm just still getting used to it, but it doesn't seem to fit as much especially on the bottom portion.

We are more than happy to assist you with this dishwasher. You can expect this dishwasher to run approximately 80 - 120 minutes depending on the cycle selected (this does not include dry time). We have provided some tips to help with drying in your dishwasher here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17451
Your feedback is extremely important to us. We will pass these comments regarding the capacity along to our product team to review.
Love the feature of the disposal in it and how quiet it is. I guess I need to learn how to link it to my WiFi. All of that is great but….. the bottom rack. It does not stay on the rails and falls off all the time. I have never had a dishwasher be as bad. I think I spend more time fixing it than anything else.
No gasket on Detergent Dispenser door! Rinses away

The detergent dispenser does NOT have a gasket. This means that your detergent will be washed away before the main wash. On a "normal wash" setting, this dishwasher will run three rinses before the main wash. I opened the door after the third rinse (during the fill for the main wash) then opened the detergent dispenser and saw that 70% of my detergent had been washed away! That greatly impacts performance and what I suspect is causing a lot of the dirty dishes comments you're seeing here. I've never seen a dishwasher with no gasket on the detergent door to prevent the initial rinses from washing it away.... What's even more shocking is that the rinse aid dispenser has a gasket! GE is cutting corners and it's showing with this model. Avoid this model and others that have this dispenser as you're literally washing money down the drain.

The dispenser module is designed to hold the detergent until the cycle is ready for it to be dispensed.
