This is a great dishwasher. I love GE appliances. This dishwasher has a lot of great features and the value is huge reason why I bought it.

Have only had this in my apartment for about a year and the day after Christmas it stopped working... the lights would come on after I open the door then after closing and trying to press ANY buttons nothing works then after a few seconds the lies go off... it's been 2 weeks already and maintenance is waiting for "new" one
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice size, good space inside, good height space

There may be a few reasons why this issue is occurring. First, please ensure that your inlet water temperature is at least 120 °F. If your inlet temperature is too low, this can reduce the effectiveness of the wash. Second, make sure large dishware does not block the detergent dispenser or wash arms. Clean dishes no matter how packed a load is!

My partner is a chef and though I’m not, we both enjoy cooking homemade meals often. In return, we create many dishes in our process and no matter how full I pack our GE dishwasher, the dishes come out clean every time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Smells terrible

This came with our new home. Smelled so terrible from the very beginning. I thought it was just a new smell that would go away. Its been months now and many washes later and its still disgusting. Would not recommend
