[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Blueair DustMagnet is an awesome device to have in your household. The machine can be used as an endtable while it does its thing by collecting most of the dust within the room. It is not very big and/or small. Extremely quiet and has a wonderful auto feature that monitors air quality and steps up air cleaning till the problem is solved.

I have 2 other “dust collectors” placed in my home that just didn’t help. This “DustMagnet” did the trick!! I was pleasantly surprised to see that the dust in my home had tremendously decreased throughout. And… it’s quiet

My partner and I had 3 Blueair Classics and decided to buy a 5440i to augment the already excellent air quality. It was an excellent decision. As soon as there is a sale, we’re buying 2 more and eliminating a 20 year old IQ Air Healthpro. The 5440i is a far superior unit technologically, aesthetically and performance. The unit is quiet and almost invisible in your room.

Works well! Very quiet, moves a lot of air, and you can literally see dust being sucked from many feet away toward the purifier. A well made machine that I’m sure will last many years. One thing that was confusing was the orientation of the filters. It says to have the arrows point up- but that seems not to make sense as you have a finned side facing out on the bottom, and the mesh side facing out on the top. Why wouldn’t it be finned side out on both? So improve your instructions, because it was confusing and I never found any confirmation anywhere else about the orientation, that I settled on simply placing arrows up.

Set up is extremely easy and the build quality is outstanding. This almost functions as a piece of furniture while cleaning the air. Very quiet and highly recommended.

I like that it is easy to get to the filters. It has been in our bedroom and has been working great. I would love to get some for other areas in our home.
