[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted a new coffee maker and this one topped the list! It is wonderful to be able to fill the water up from the front of the machine, it is so much easier! I love the look of this coffee makeer, it has a great design. It was easy to set the time on this and it is has just the right amount of brightness and the size of the numbers makes it easy to read. This Hamilton Beach Front Fill Deluxe coffee maker makes a wonderful pot of coffee too!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using my Hamilton Beach Front Fill Deluxe 12 cup programmable Coffee maker for over a week now and I love it! It just makes it so easy to use. To be able to fill the water tank on the front is for me a great space saver. Also that the filter basket swings out, makes it so easy to put in the filter and coffee ground. The programming option is a time saver for us. I get the coffee maker ready in the evening and in the morning we wake up to freshly made coffee. Though we are using filtered water, I still plan on purchasing the optional filter that goes into the water tank.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is awesome. It's very user friendly. I was able to make my coffee this morning without having to go prep the machine. It automatically makes the coffee for me with the programmable timer. I'm so excited to have this coffee machine.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with this coffee maker. I love the fact that I can program my coffee so that it’s ready when I wake up in the morning. It’s very easy to keep clean and it makes great coffee. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. I’ve never owned a programmable coffee maker before, having my coffee ready when I get up is amazing.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the fact that this code maker can brew 4 cups as well as 12 cups at once. Very easy to use and fits right on the counter. It keeps the coffee hot for long. Also, you can see how long the coffee has brewed for, which i feel is a great feature to have.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this coffee maker as part of the Hamilton Beach Ambassadors. This is the BEST coffee maker I have ever had. It is easy to use. Easy to set the time. Easy to program and makes the best coffee. It does not drip when you remove the pot and it looks great on my counter top. The basket swings out and you can remove it to clean it. The water is added at the front of the coffee maker, which makes it easy to fill and makes less mess. The pot is sturdy and is doesn't make a mess when you pour from it. I would recommend this coffee maker to friends and family. You can't go wrong.

Things I like-
-This machine makes a good cup of coffee. It is replacing a 5 year old 5 cup coffee maker. This makes coffee pretty fast, makes about 5 cups in 5 minutes.
-Love the large blue digital display; easy to read from across the room.
-Love the large buttons, placed within easy reach and easy to read.
-I like the swing door with the basket in it. I have always had to pull the coffee maker forward so the flip up lid would clear the cabinet when adding coffee. This is a great idea that I have never seen on any other brand of machine.
-Love the fact I can fill the coffee maker with water from the front by flipping up the lid or from the back if necessary. By using the front lid, I don't have to pull the machine forward to clear the cabinet.
-In the back there is a little cut out for the power cord to fit in. What a great idea. You can slide what is left of the power cord into this slot so it is not all over the counter.
-The pot does not leak when pouring coffee.
-The silver trim around the machine adds a nice touch to the machine.
Things I don't care for-
-To set the time all you do is push the buttons. I can easily engage the button accidently when moving my hand across the counter. Wish the buttons had another button to press while setting the time to prevent accidentally changing the time.
-No battery backup on the clock. Just a simple battery like that of a car remote would hold the power and prevent the clock from resetting due to a power failure. If you want to set the timer to start making coffee in the morning and there is a 2 sec power failure, the machine will not start at the programmed time. Some areas have power failures often at night.
-The bottom opening is quite small for the decanter. Your have to push it straight in from the front to engage the pot. Other machines I have had have a larger opening so the pot can be slid in at a 45 degree angle instead of pushing it straight in. It is so dark inside the opening; I cannot even tell if the pot is full or empty without pulling the pot out.
-The machine seems very deep from front to back. Since I had a 5 cup coffee maker before this, I went to the store and looked at other 12 cup coffee makers. A few are as deep as this one, but I saw many which were not so deep and did not take up so much room. My kitchen is small so the large machine does take up a lot more counter space than I would like. This would be a major consideration when I am buying a machine.
-It does not beep when the coffee is ready. I know some people like this feature and others do not. It would be great to have a programmable on/low/med/off volume control for a beep. This is not a deal breaker, but would be a nice feature.
-The water level indicator is on the back left side of the machine. It is not so easy to read. It should closer to the front of the machine with some sort of magnifier on the numbers so it can be read more easily.
