I bought this for a small office space I use that gets cold in the winter. I'm working all day on lots of virtual/video meetings etc., and this unit heated well, pushing out a stream of hot air, but it was simply too loud to work in here. I found it to be quite unexpectedly loud, actually, like running an industrial hair-dryer. It was far too disruptive as background noise in meetings.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Neat little heater fan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love to sleep with a personal heater on at night. Winter in WI brings some really cold nights but to save on electrical cost I turn the whole house heat down and blast my personal heaters at night. This is a nice personal heater, the “vornado” feature says it sends heat further into the room and it’s true it does reach further than my other personal heaters. I like that it also has safety features like overheat shut off and tip over protection. The ability to choose the heat level or simply use it as a fan also makes it’s pretty versatile. The only downside is it’s a bit deeper than most of the personal heaters I’ve used so it’s harder for me to fit on a nightstand without having it shoved against a wall which is not ideal for air flow.

Bought this to replace the Vornado foot heater that finally gave out. This is much noisier than my old one. I wouldn't recommend. I wish they would make the foot heater again! I loved it under my desk!

Warm up FAST!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I wanted a little heater to put next to my chair, just to knock off the chill while I was watching TV, and picked up this Vornsdo. Nice small heater. Great look, great design and has the safety switch in case it gets knocked over which will shut it off. Man, that little Vornado puts out some good heat! My only issue is that the fan is a little loud. Look, don’t get me wrong, it’s a great heater, just not good for what I wanted it for. Not a problem though. I just moved it to the bathroom! Problem solved!! Nice heater.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Vornado Velocity 1 Personal Heater gives off a very nice amount of heat in a nice compact size heater. It is very lightweight and easy to carry room to room and the perfect size to bring to work or use in your home office. This is a great personal size heater for when you want to warm up, but do not want to run the whole house heater. Very easy to use, it has a high/low and fan setting. The case of the heater does not heat up, so you can safely touch the heater while it is on. If you are looking for a little compact heater, this one is an impressive choice, I love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the velocity 1 personal heater and its awesome! Its perfect for my office. Its quiet and keeps me warm! It doesn't get to hot, it warms up my office perfectly. Its nice and small so it doesn't take up any space.

Great little heater, but it doesn’t get very hot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great little heater. It is small, stylish, and very easy to use. There is a single knob with three functions—fan, low heat, and high heat. The fan works reasonably well, but the heat functions are a bit disappointing. The heater simply cannot produce very hot air. It is fine for my needs, but I often find myself wishing the air leaving the heater was hotter.

Great for bathroom!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this little heater to use in my bathroom. It puts out decent heat and helps warm bathroom when showering. It is small don’t take lot of space and it has the automatic turn off if accidentally knocked over. Works good
