Detergent Dispenser ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE to REMOVE

Purchased one day ago; almost impossible to PRESS DOWN on the area on the laundry dispenser device to remove for cleaning; the area that you need to push your finger on is COVERED by plastic. Terrible design feature; no quality control; also, no GENTLE spin on the Gentle selection so items VERY WRINKLED.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased a month ago when our 14 year old Kenmore died. Controls are simple- basic features for this model. Water temperature choices limited. Good capacity and wash performance. Does not live up to its low noise claim on spin dry cycle. Overall good value.

Wonderful Machine

It uses less water and soap and gets the clothes so much cleaner. I love that it has a cycle to clean the machine itself so it doesn't get that musty smell my old one had.

ease of use, cleans great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not know that Electrolux made other appliances except vacums, but I am very pleased with this washer. The product is typical of this company, made with quality parts, I would change my dryer when it goes with the matching washer. I also own a condo & just replaced the washer with another company but have found out that it only lasts about 2-3 years, when that goes I am going to put in the washer & dryer from Electrolux, or even before that because I like this one so much.
I would recommend this to a friend!
