I am a mom of two boys, a Samoyed ( if you don’t know what that is, look it up) and my husband does construction. This machine can handle it all! Throw my clothes in and silence the alarm due to a sleepy new born. And crank it up to heavy duty when it’s my husbands work clothes.... and I can be confident that’s clothes will be clean

Simple and decent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is very weird, I know, but I really was in LOVE with my previous washer (a Kenmore, 17 years old but looked and acted like new - then a crucial, non-fixable thing failed. So bummed) - and I'm worried that is coloring my feelings about this washer. We ordered it online... looking back, it would have been good to go in person and review the various options; I might have been reminded of things like: a prewash, or "pre-soak" cycle - this machine doesn't have one, previous one did and it was useful. Also, height of the "fins" inside the drum. I'm not sure if it matters, but the previous ones were about 4-5" high, and the ones in this washer are barely bumps - maybe 2.5" high. Like I say, not sure if it makes a difference but it bothers me. Also, how the water enters the drum is a mystery - there certainly isn't any obvious stream of water entering, but water (a very little!) does get in from somewhere; the clothes do get wet. I was also used to old-fashioned dial-knobs and such for settings and wash cycle selection - very physical. Now it's all "touch buttons," and they are pretty sensitive - I end up going through the lists of options more than once quite often, because I've pressed just a bit too much and advanced the selection beyond what I was after. I DO like the large, clear display of 'how many minutes remaining.' I dunno. This all sounds so trivial (talk about first world problems! ;). It washes. It handles large loads. It's simple. The only cycle I miss is the pre-soak, and I can accomplish that in other ways... sigh. I just miss my old one; not fair to take that out on this one, which really is quite reasonable - AND made in the USA (I'm pretty sure?) - which is important to me.

Great washing machine overall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the washer and would give it 5 stars except for the fact that I cannot seem to control the temperature of the rinse cycle. My clothes always come out warm to the touch. It cleans really well, is quiet, and has a great look.
