[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought a model home this past spring and the electrolux washer and dryer came with the purchase. After a short time we realized the softener dispenser was not working. Unfortunately, even though it was new when we purchased the home, the washer had been in the model for more than a year (unsused, of course) and we were denied warranty service. Very disappointing. Still have not had it fixed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

love not having to set water level!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the quiet of operation, interior and everything but one thing...It is hard measuring 2 tablespoons of detergent into drawer. It would have been great to put in a cup and have it distributed to each wash. Other than that....great.

Confidence in my purhcase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this Electrolux washer to replace our Frigidair Affinity Series washer (made by Electrolux). When I bought my house ten years ago, I negotiated to have the washer and dryer included in the purchase. The owners didn't want to part with them, but they eventually did. I could not have been happier with our washer and dryer - did a great job, gentle on clothes, never had any issues. So when our washer finally bit the dust and I ventured out to replace it, I quickly became dismayed with reviews of the washers out there. It seemed none of them were going to be as reliable as the one I was replacing. After much deliberation and shopping around, I found a local retailer who carried the Electrolux at a pricepoint I could afford. We have only had it a month, and so far so good. It does not have as many settings as our Frigidaire Affinity (and I do miss my hand was setting), but for the price, there are no complaints. If I had a slightly bigger budget, I could have gone with the higher models which do offer these settings, but such is life. I plan on it lasting us a good long while.
