Works fine with a minor inconvenience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was instructed by the new home client care person for my new house to be sure to wipe out the drum and the soap dish every load, and leave them propped open for a day to be sure they air dry and don't get moldy. I've heard this is common in front load washers. Never had one so was a bit disappointed.

Great capacity, few options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer was a warranty replacement. Thank goodness we purchased the extended warranty every year for the last 6 years because it paid for itself in the end.
This Front Load replaced a large capacity Top Load work-horse in our family of five. Our home was built in the 1950's and I was afraid this large capacity Front Load washer wouldn't fit in the compact area we have for the washer/dryer, but it fits just fine and it can handle all that our faithful old friend did.
It gets our clothes clean; don't be fooled by the fact that you don't see water swooshing around. Do not use too much detergent; in this washer a little really goes a long way, AND there is an extra rinse option if you feel you need that extra rinse (it adds minimal minutes to your wash cycle). The spin cycles are a little noisy, but are also so efficient that dryer time has actually been cut down because the clothes are not as wet as with other washers. A positive for the environment.
The only naggy complaint about this washer is that it doesn't have as many washer options as "old faithful". It would be nice if there was a "small load" washing option and a "delicate spin" option, but you can work around these things by using lingerie bags for delicates.
