Good coffee but tedious process

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Mr. Coffee all in one at home pour over coffee maker makes a pretty good cup of coffee. It was easy to set up and use the first time. It take about 2 minutes for the kettle to heat up water. The base weighs the amount off coffee grounds you need. The tedious part is pouring the water over the grounds. You have to go slow and at one point the base will tell you to wait till all the water drains. It makes a decent cup of coffee, the process to make it is just a bit tedious

The bomb dot com!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my Mr. Coffee set-up! Makes great coffee in fashion. The kettle can be used for so man different things too- soup, tea, etc. It was very easy to learn how to use and remains easy to operate. A nice touch to my kitchen counter, although somewhat spacious horizontally, and a great start to my day.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very smooth coffee

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wished this machine came with a couple filters to use because we had to buy some abs wait to try this machine out but once we did it did not disappoint! Husband followed the instructions and I had the best cup of coffee I’d ever enjoyed at home! Unfortunately we don’t have the space for it on our counter right now so my husband is taking it work but I will have to have it back someday!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Coffee Maker

great cup of coffee

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to get this in the mail. I was ready with my #2 filters and couldn't wait to try it out. There is a learning curve with the machine...all of which happened to me.
1. Buy the cone shaped #2 filters not the flat bottom ones that I got. However, you can use them. You have to fold the seams down otherwise the coffee will just go right through them and you'll end up with coffee grinds and water as your coffee in the carafe.If you fold the seams and carefully pour in the water watching the amazing display that does the countdown for you you will be rewarded with an amazing cup of coffee.
2. Make sure you rinse the paper cone with the hot water. This does 2 things it gets rid of any paper dust and warms the carafe to be ready for your coffee.
3. Follow the onscreen directions. They won't lead you wrong.
4. After adding the coffee grinds. Pico up the filter and shake its the grinds settle and are not in one place. then make a little hollow in the center where you will being begin to pour the water.
5. Pour the water, follow the directions on screen and enjoy!

This was a great cup of coffee. It's certainly not quick and I wish the carafe would stay warmer than it does (there's no warming plate). The footprint of the machine is bigger than I would have liked but it adds a nice piece to my kitchen that people love to ask me about!!

Perfect cup in a fraction of the time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a game changer for me. I make my husband French pressed coffee every morning so e will have the perfect cup. But, waiting for the water to boil takes forever. I got this to see if I could save some time in the morning. It is incredible! I actually don't even need my tea kettle now. The kettle heats up in 3 minutes or less. Then you put in your filter and your choice of coffee or even tea and pour over the carafe. For me, it saves a ton of time without compromising quality of taste. I also found this useful while canning foods from my garden. I usually boil water and put in a bowl with the lids and rims and the fast kettle on this has helped me speed up my process. That was an unexpected, but, welcome use. At first I thought this system takes up a bit of space, but, it is actually going to free up space because I don't need the French press and the kettle out. I love this system.

Easy to follow instructions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I unboxed the Mr Coffee All-in-One Pour Over Coffee Maker, my first thought was this is going to be so complicated to use, but that surly is not the case. I read the instructions that were included completely before getting started to make my first cup. One side of the unit has a heating element that the gooseneck kettle sits on to heat the water. The other holds a overhead dripper where the filter (pointed cone filters are required and not included) coffee grounds and water is placed into. It also holds the glass carafe that sits on a auto measure scale that measures both the water and coffee grounds making sure its exactly the right amount for the cup serving size you have selected, those choices being 2, 4 or 6 cup. On the unit interface located between the 2 pots is a step by step selection screen guide, so as the water is heating, you are being prompted to finger press each selection to complete the other steps for creating great tasting coffee. The entire process is somewhat time consuming, but personally I feel its so worth it.

Easily make Fresh Pour Over Coffee in minutes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Mr. Coffee All-in-One At-Home Pour Over Coffee Maker is very user friendly. It has two separate sides. On the right is a kettle where you’ll heat up the water and on the left is where you’ll add your grinds, pour over the hot water and make your delicious, fresh java. The digital display in the front has step by step instructions. First, you fill the kettle with water then press the button to get it heating up. I was surprised at how fast the water was heated to 200 degrees. Next, you’ll need to put a cone filter in the top then add your grinds. The display will tell you once you have enough grounds added then you can more onto the next step by tap “next” on the display. Add hot water from the kettle until the display tells you to “wait” then you add more until the display bar fills up. That’s all there is to it and you have yourself a fresh cup of pour over coffee. I really like that the kettle has a separate on/off button. Everything is very nice and well made but the handles on both the kettle and glass pot seem to be a little loose. There’s no way to tighten them but I think they’ll be okay as long as I don’t completely fill them up.
