Does EVERYTHING!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coffee maker is HUGE and doesn't skimp on the details. It felt somewhat overwhelming to unbox this behemoth of a kitchen appliance because I didn't know where to begin! The instruction booklet was a life saver and walked me through the steps to make espresso, steamed milk, k cups, and an entire pot of coffee!
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coffee maker is fabulous. You can make espresso, regular coffee, and single serve coffee either with a k cup or with your own coffee grounds. The coffee no matter what kind you make comes out the perfect temperature and has a delicious bold smooth flavor. I love being able to use the k cups plus the organizer is a great way to not loose the pieces and save space. It's got a really sleek look and is built with high quality. I also love the espresso which surprised me because i am not a fan of them when I order one at a coffee place. It has a bunch of recipies in the owners manual and a top notch milk frother that actually uses steam like the ones used in coffee shops. Only downfall is that it is pretty noisy when it first starts up. It's not for long and that is my only complaint. Very happy with this product. Plus the self cleaning system makes it really easy to clean and it has error codes for if any problems occur like improper water level ect. which made operating this thing a breeze. Highly recommend.

Full Featured and Sturdy, but Complicated

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The coffee pot is attractive looking on the counter and appears to be well-built and sturdy. I like the feel of the actual pot and it seems quite durable and doesn't get hot enough to hold.
If you're primarily interested in making a pot of coffee, this is a decent system. It makes a good cup of coffee and the espresso and milk frothing functions were nice new additions to play around with adding to my morning cup.

The cons: It does brew pretty loudly and also doesn't have a way to program it to turn on automatically. I found much of the instructions for brewing weren't exactly intuitive. You need the maker set at standby, then when the water has heated switch to brew. The coffee maker also has an addition to be able to make single k-cup servings. I found this to be largely unusable; very cumbersome to get on correctly and definitely not quick. This is absolutely not a decent replacement for a Keurig if you're mainly interested in one cup servings. Adding water is also a pain as the water container is in the back and there is no indicator on the front that tells you the water is running low. There were several times I ran out of water halfway through the brewing of a pot and had to start all over.
Overall, I would say this is a decent system if you're primarily interested in making larger pots and experimenting with a bit of the extras for lattes and espressos. But, this system is definitely short a lot of the finer qualities that I would expect in a maker that boasts its features.

Great Counter-piece

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a beautiful coffee maker!! It sits on the counter like the king of the kitchen.
Anytime I don’t have to remember to do something I’m a little less anxious about it. You can set this guy up to brew your coffee for you every morning. I really appreciate that in products these days.
It’s also a pretty fast brew compared to my other coffee maker which is so great for when you have to grab a cup of coffee during the day on the go.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to use, good features.

Does what it says (with work)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited for this coffee maker with multiple options. I loved that I could serve my coffee multiple ways. However upon receiving it I realized it’s actually a lot more work to switch between options. It’s good if you mostly want to use one but that’s not the point of a multiple option product. I think I’ll stick to my Keurig as it’s a lot more simple.

The coffee maker didn't work out of the box.

Upon unpackaging the MR. COFFEE Ocasions and attempting to clean prior to the first use, all I got was a flashing 0 and a flashing ready light. The maker did not work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Problems out of the box with this one.

Just got the coffee maker, read the directions, cleaned the removable parts. Removed the red plug for the water container. Waited for a solid ready light before switching modes. No matter how long I wait or which mode the device is in it will only display a flashing "0". I agree with the manual that the issue is most likely something to do with the water. I suspect something with it's pump.
