Excellent home coffee maker!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Mr. Coffee Occasions All-in-One Coffee Maker as part of a review program, and I'm posting an unbiased review of my 2 weeks using the coffee maker.
First off, this is an excellent coffee maker to have at home. Mr. Coffee's design team has upped the ante with this model, and if I were to take a guess, this might be a replacement for the Mr. Coffee SJX (which I've previously purchased and owned). The Occasions model has a HUGE leg up in home coffee making in my opinion, allowing novice coffee makers like myself to up the amateur barista game when entertaining/ having people over at home. The build quality of the machine is absolutely solid!
The Occasions coffee maker can brew 4 different sizes for Single Serve's, and make a mean Espresso as well. I've been using the machine twice a day o brew coffee (morning and evening), and haven't encountered any issued so far. If you're new to coffee brewing, this machine is not for you as you'd need basic familiarity with how to operate such machines. If you already have used Mr. Coffee's coffee machines previously, the user manual is very easy to understand (just a few additional settings/ buttons over prior models) and you're good to go. I started brewing my first batch 30 minutes after unboxing and cleaning the equipment prior to use.
It's easy to clean after use as well, no rocket science involved.
The steamer is a tad bit more powerful than previous models, so be careful when using it. Test it first while frothing milk, and raise the output slowly. I found that the best frothing is obtained when the steamer operates at just around the mid-range - any higher and you might scald yourself.
The only drawback that I think some people may have with this machine is that it takes up quite a bit of space in the kitchen (see packagingphoto for size). Unless you have a separate kitchen island to keep this, it would be an overkill for a studio apartment/ 1 Bed apartment.
Overall, I'm very satisfied and would highly recommend the Mr. Coffee Occasions AiO Coffee Maker to anyone who wants to upsize their coffee machine, or are looking for a new one. If you maintain and clean your coffee maker regularly, you can get years of service and excellent use out of them.

The coffee maker just got in yesterday March 15, 2020 to be exact. We followed everything from the manual BUT IT NEVER WORK! We cleaned up everything. Checked and cleaned the water tank and pump. Please double check your products especially in your manufacturer!!!

Great but noisy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My mother bought this for me a few weeks ago. I like it but I’m having a hard time making the decision if I should keep it or not because it’s extremely loud. I can’t make coffee without waking my 6 year old daughter up.

2 months old stopped working

Bought about two months ago loved how it worked in the beginning wonderful features to be able to brew espresso and coffee on the same machine. This morning when I went to make my coffee the machine would not brew kept giving me a zero error message even though the reservoir was completely full. Tried to clean cycle same situation tries to pull/pump water and then after about three seconds it stops working and flashes 0 again seems as though this is a common problem it would be nice if the fix was listed on the website!

Great addition to our kitchen

So, did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews, mostly that were speaking to the points that the purchasers did not like. After six months of multiple times of use daily I feel I can review well.
We have used all features continually (K cup feature being the least used). Everything has functioned as expected. No feature is top of its class (what all-in-one does?). It certainly fits .. for what we enjoy. And having all features in one space saving unit is exactly what we needed. For the espresso feature, I have used only Illy coffees so far, decaf and and intenso roasts. The drip feature gets fresh ground specialty coffees and used daily for early morning pots. I’m actually surprised how much the machine gets used. Have only made Lattes and Cappuccinos using the frother, and frothed milk for London Fog etc.
I haven’t played with Latte art other than the most simple designs. It was a trick at first learning to get the milk steamed just right. Maybe in the future I’ll get more creative. I did use a thermometer at first for about a month to get the milk temp right but now I just use my finger on the side of the pitcher and listen for the “right” sound.
I have descaled twice (white vinegar) and disassembled espresso set up parts to clean once.
Yes, every once in a while the sound is a chatter. I found that pressing down lightly on the top where I keep the cups (picture) cuts the sound in half (that would be a design point to improve in future models). But it’s certainly tolerable. (one reviewer still makes me laugh when she said it was so loud it would awaken her boyfriend in the other room.... not our machine, ha!)
We have never used a timer to have the drip coffee ready on wake up so not having that feature is not a thing!
My biggest complaint is that I cannot make espresso drinks fast enough when we have groups of people over. And now, there is expectation. After living in Venezuela for a decade and learning to appreciate a good pull, having good espresso at home at this price point is awesome.
We’ve had a lot of fun with the machine and it was a great addition to our kitchen remodel.
I gotta get that finished. Painter is up next. Yay! I do not recommend living in a remodel.
I very much recommend the machine.

“0” error but wait 10min after cleaning and works

For Christmas gifted this combo machine to my husband. At first try the machine did not work after following the instructions to clean it first before initial use. Contacted customer service and was advised to wait 10 minutes and the machine works great!! ( I see similar issues with reviews below... please do give up on this great multi use machine!)

"0" flashes on display even though water tank is full and red plug was removed When "0" does not flash, pot of coffee stops within a few seconds of starting and flashing "0" appears. Metal tube that pierces K-cup gets clogged with coffee K-cups brew for a few seconds, stop, and "0" starts flashing
