[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Galanz microwave has many features that my older one didn't have. One feature I really like is the sensor option for cooking or defrosting foods. The sensor selects how long to defrost, cook or reheat your food. This seems to cook evenly without having food cold in spots. The black stainless steel is very chic! Now I just need to upgrade my other appliances to match!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to sample this microwave and it it is easy to use, and to set up programming clock and light. It heats the food nicely and hot drinks . It is made solid so it will last and has plenty of nice features. Give this a look if your in market for microwave is my thought on the matter and you will be happy you did

Love the Sensor Technology!

I would always overcook my food in the past, because I was just guessing at how long it needed to cook or reheat. The sensor changes all that. No more mistakes. The food is cooked & reheated evenly. The dinner plate preset button is a great feature. This oven is stylish too and fits into any decor.

Great, Simplistic Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Don't be out off by the minimalist design of the Galanz stainless steel microwave. Hidden behind its clever dial knob is an impressive microwave than shuns the conventional number pad for a more sophisticated interface. The varying presets are embedded with several options that we periodically referred to the instruction manuals to, but quickly got the hang of.
And, the Galanz microwave is more than its looks. The microwave evenly heats meals, leftovers, mugs of water, popcorn, etc. with ease. The heating is even so you won't be surprised by cold spots. Whereas other microwaves blast your food to make it hot, the Galanz seems to take a measured approach to make sure that the heat is consistent throughout.
While we briefly missed the infamous number pads of other models, we've moved beyond that and definitely enjoy having the Galanz microwave being a part of our kitchen.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fits a 9 by 13 pan!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having used the Galanz countertop microwave now for a couple of weeks with our family of 6 we have learned a lot from what we liked and didn't like about the product.
Likes (Pros): 1.) The microwave is a big size on the interior which allows for a 9x13 pan to fit. 2.) The turn knob (which took a few times using to get used to) was a plus for simplicity that all you needed to do was turn it and push to start. 3.) We liked how easy it was to set the power level to cook at lower temperatures.

We liked how easy it was to set the power level to cook at lower temperatures.
Dislikes (Cons): 1.) Even with the interior light on while cooking, it is difficult to see inside. 2.) The fan stays on after it is done cooking which makes it more difficult to know when it's done. 3.) The rotating plate got really hot when we were trying to defrost some frozen broth causing the glass jar to crack.
Other things to know: 1.) The knob goes up by 10 second increments so if you need 15 seconds, then set it for 20 seconds and stop it early. 2.) The slick design does need to be clean often with the stainless steel strips on common touch points.
Overall, it's a nice and sizable microwave that cooks well and is easy to operate for kids and adults alike. There are other buttons included that allow for short cuts and programmed options. I like the product, but see a few areas in which there could be improvements.

It's fast and easy to use. It cooks food perfectly! The interior is large and easy to clean . I like the stainless steel exterior. It's very nice looking.
