Worked very well for 2 months, then motor died

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently purchased our first high-efficiency front loader set. We were excited, and have a new baby in cloth diapers. Everything worked great for the first 2 months... One day the dryer stopped working, and would only hum. Service guys came out, and said the motor was fried and the belt broke. He said he wasn't sure of the cause of failure, and there were no socks or anything stuck in the works. Now I'm excited every time the dryer finishes a load and hasn't died. Guess we'll be holding our breath for the next failure, and hoping it happens before the warranty expires.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Additionally, your purchase extended the one-year coverage on parts to three years at no cost to you, since you registered your product with Electrolux within 60 days of purchase. Awesome Dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owed many brands of dryers over the years. While it is hard to get excited about a dryer, the Electrolux dryer is awesome. Of course you expect a dryer to dry clothes and this one does perfectly, but the other features set it apart. The Eco feature is one of my favorite. It uses less energy to dry your clothes but if you are in a hurry it also has a fast dry feature.
I would recommend this to a friend!

You may not think in a humid climate you would add the steam cleaning but wow what a difrence a little steam makes. Wish it would work as well on my hair...the steam that is!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] DO NOT BUY THIS GAS DRYER - THERE IS A DESIGN FLAW Dryer makes load bang noise on high heat. Electrolux confirmed that the noise is due to the mental overheating and expanding. Touch buttons are difficult to use as well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
