Never been so happy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Never been so happy to do laundry. This is by far the best front loading dryer I've ever owned. Clothes come out fluffy, fresh, wrinkle free, and smelling great. The dryer is so smart and efficient.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this dryer for about a month and had no issues with it and have enjoyed using it with my new washer. The size of the tub is nice.
I do wish the drum was stainless steel, but that was not an option that was easy to find on any brand.

A higher power might have designed this dryer

Good, with one major flaw

The dryer is fine but here's the one flaw: The lint catcher can get dislodged by clothes. This has happened to me several times over the three years I've had the machine. When the lint catcher is dislodged, clothes get sucked into the exhaust. They are hard to get out! There is an easy fix for Electrolux: add some kind of clip so the lint catcher is locked in and secure.

Great dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our new Electrolux, it dries super fast and has the steam option which is great for getting wrinkles out of clothes. However there is a weird knocking/rattling noise. Not sure if it’s supposed to be that way.

While you can expect the dryer to emit a low hum while spinning along with whatever noises your clothes make from moving around, knocking and rattling noises are unusual. Please ensure that your dryer is properly leveled and all four feet are firmly on the ground! Any shipping bolts should also have been removed from the rear of the washer upon installation. Faulty Lint Filter

Lint filter came out while drying clothes. I heard the banging and was surprised to find the lint filter in with my clothes and unfortunately socks were down in the path of the air flow exhaust. I retrieved socks put the lint trap back and chalked it up to me not putting it down. Started dryer, checked back in 5 minutes and all was good. I headed upstairs. My daughter heard the clanking - it did it again!! This time I know the lint filter was all the way down. This time more socks went down and became trapped. Luckily my daughter heard it and we didn’t have a fire or something. Now the dryer makes a horrible noise it’s late on a Friday and I have tons of laundry to get done. So angry and this obvious design flaw.
