Amazing applicances!

This set has exceeded our expectations. We were hesitant to purchase a front loading system as we have heard many stories about mold issues and having to leave the door open to air out. But after having these for a month we are beyond pleased with them both. Didn't expect to be wowed by a washer and dryer, but they have been beyond amazing. They're able to handle large loads, which for a family of 4 is amazing. We've used quite a few different brands in our homes and I can honestly say they clean and dry our clothes better than any system we have had. I have yet to use stain removal products to remove set in stains as this washer has taken care of all we've thrown at it. Cycle lengths are great compared to other products we looked at and the extended refresh practically washes and drys the clothes overnight. The dryer has so many settings that I can dry everything from very delicate items to very heavy items. And it's the first dryer with a steam feature that actually works! Most brands we've used simply give you warm damp clothes when they're done. The instant refresh is perfect for giving slightly wrinkled clothing a touch up. Now if they could only fold the clothes...

What a great idea to have the dryer fold the clothes, shortyspice1979! We hope that your laundry units lasts beyond your expectations. Kindly, Courtney

Unbelievably Nice and Professional!

This is definitely a step up from the Kenmore Elite washer we had for the past 9 years. Electrolux knows how to add the nice little touches. Like a dedicated PODS drawer, easy touch operation, and laser-cut LED lights for the buttons. You can just tell this washer is built very well.

A Welcome Surprise!

When my workhorse Bosch but the dust after 15 years, I thought, “Good grief, what now?” After some research and checking out products, I chose the Electrolux 627 washer. The perfect choice! The machine is quiet, efficient, and pretty. Yes, pretty. Despite the age difference if my house - circa 1880- and this 2018 washer, it’s right at home in the laundry room. I also treated myself to the pedestal. This Electrolux has taken the chore out of laundry! Thank you!

Features matches it looks

I have had this washer for almost a month. The looks of the washer is what caught my eyes and then starting reading online reviews and almost all the sites said this was the best washer you could buy. I love the drawer for Tide Pods instead of tossing a pod into the machine it has a handy drawer where water hits and mixes is separate tub.
I love the looks of the machine. The titanium color finish is stunning and will fit any laundry room. I love how the display is built into the main control nob instead of a separate panel like other machines. I love little finishes like the internal light and simplicity of the controls.
The best feature of this machine is that it deeply cleans your clothes. The way it mixes the soap and water gets the clothes amazing clean. It has plenty of cycles and options. The steam options are nice and work well.
If you want a very stylish washer that gets your clothes super clean you can’t go wrong with this washer.

I was looking for a washer that was “normal” sized. I purchased the washer dryer pair based on the reviews for the washing machine. I wanted a pre soak and steam option on a machine with excellent stain removal capabilities. This fit the bill. That this is a “pretty” machine is a happy bonus.
The settings have a memory feature where the next cycle on the same setting will run with the same presets from the previous cycle. So if you wash towels in Normal and change water temperature from warm to hot, the next time you select Normal, the water will still be set to hot. And you (I) will (did) shrink your (my) children’s clothing. I do wish that there was a way to reset buttons to factory settings. Perhaps there is one that I haven’t found? The machine also “dribbles” down the front after every cycle. Minor issues on a overall great machine.

Full Featured And Practical

Had our Electrolux washer installed a month ago and are very happy with it so far. Our floor in the laundry room is a bit uneven but with level and a few inches of adjustment we have the machine spinning nearly silently with hardly any vibration. So the internal balancers are doing their job. Love the interior light that comes on when the door is open and fades if it is left open. The seal around the door has holes to allow the water to drain into the drum, preventing water/mold issues. Some people have complained about the new drum seal smell, but I find it pleasant and understand this will fade with time anyway. There are enough wash cycles for any need but not so many as to be overkill. The 15 minute wash is great for freshening up not-so-soiled clothes. I do like the steam function and used it on some especially soiled garden clothes with good results. The machine is quiet, well designed, and easy to use. I hope it is as durable as it is functional.

Excellent washing performance

I have used this washer for approx. 100 loads now and decided I knew it well enough to write a review. This machine replaces a 4-year front loader with a slow leak we did not know about that caused over $1000 worth of damage to our house. (We will now use water sensors & shut-off valves going forward!!). I researched washers extensively and found that they have definitely increased in size since my last purchase. Knowing we had limited room, I narrowed it down to this Electrolux based on the reviews and its smaller footprint. So far, I've very pleased with how well it cleans. The first day I had it, I washed a load of dishtowels that were covered in chocolate and various food stains that had never come out in my old machine, even with bleach. To my surprise, 90% of the old stains came out without even any stain fighters or bleach added to the load. Wow! Unlike other washers, this machine mixes detergent and water in a special reservoir and then sprays the mixture onto the load so everything in the drum is hit with diluted detergent. The washer then rinses the clothes with water from a different pump so they are being rinsed with completely clear water. I think it makes a big difference in how well it cleans. I'm noticing our clothes are much cleaner than they used to be. I don't find the washer's cleaning times to be excessively long and I love that it has options for steam and for sanitizing. My daughter has pet allergies and it's nice to know that her bedding is getting cleaner than before. The only downside to the washer is the noise, it spins much faster than my old washer and it also sounds very loud when it's draining the water. It's not usually a problem as we can close the door to the laundry room but I can see how it would be annoying if one didn't have this in an enclosed space or a basement. The other downside to the high spin is that even on the lowest spin it gets so much of the water out of the clothes that cotton t-shirts and clothes I hang dry do tend to be more wrinkled than before. There is a wrinkle release option that when I remember to use it, does tend to help. I wish Electrolux would add another spin setting with an even lower spin for synthetic clothing that doesn't go through the dryer. I also wish they would add a Hand Wash option like my old washer had, I didn't think I would miss it but it was nice to have. All in all though, for 90% of my laundry needs, this washer is doing a great job. It cleans super well and cleans large loads of clothing (I washed a queen sized down comforter with no problem). I think it would be a great washer for families and anyone who washes large loads of basic laundry (towels, whites, etc.) or has very dirty loads to clean.
Pros:
*Cleans extremely well
*Clean washer feature prompts you every 50 loads
*Steam feature
*Huge capacity
*Gaskets & doors have solid, well-made feel (not cheap & chintzy)
*No rocking during spin cycles
*Ability to use pods, if desired
*Can wash a load of clothes that are very dirty quickly, if needed
*Good design
*Lots of good options (taking the 20 minutes to read the Owners Manual is a big help in knowing how to use them)
Cons:
*Can be loud at various times in the cycle do to fast spin speeds
*No hand wash/wool setting
*No bedding setting
*No permanent press setting, if you're used to that
*Slightly more wrinkling in synthetic clothing
