[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laptop exceeded my expectation for the price point. I bought this laptop for photo editing and graphic design and it did not disappoint. It has Intel Core - i7 processor, 16GB RAM, and 1 TB SSD which is excellent for multitasking. Not to mention a 15.6” TOUCH screen. This laptop has everything you need!

A Fantastic Laptop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The main reason we bought this was for the 4K monitor, which is stunning in real life. However, the rest of the laptop has proven to be fantastic. Thought the screen pad was a little gimicky at first but once we got it set up.... it really is a useful feature.

Just got it. Seems like a great little computer. Replaced an 11 year old HP. Much faster but spending some time to get use to it.

Have owned a few ASUS laptops before and while all of them have had quirks, have delivered on what I bought them for. Hopefully, this one does too as it is the most expensive ASUS laptop I have purchased.
The specs are excellent. Too many laptops are aimed at gamers these days and "work" laptops tend to compromise looks, build or specs. This gets the combination right except for not enough memory (16Gb fixed) for 2021 for its target customers.
It is surprisingly light and slim for a 15 incher with a 6 core H CPU and a discrete graphics card. The 4k OLED screen is brilliant literally and figuratively.
Only compromise is the small number of ports for the slim profile and likely busy innards because of it. But it has all the required ports and versions. The compromise does allow it to be a true portable than a desk-tied workstation.
Not much bloatware except for the annoying McAfee nags. Was given an option to upgrade to Windows 11 at startup. But like for all MS software, I am going to wait for a few service packs rather than beta test them.
MyAsus app to manage the computer has the right idea but needs better software developers that are user-centric more like Apple and Samsung than Microsoft. It is clunky with obscure messages like "system interface utility must be updated" (!!!) when opened. Just do what needs to be done than put up MS like useless messages.
Updated to the latest BIOS from web site. The Windows based installer didn't work. It went through some installation screen and finished with no further instructions and didn't update BIOS. The BIOS based flash worked on the downloaded image. Again more MS than AAPL. The BIOS screen UI from the 80s is a disgrace for this century.
So this laptop like other ASUS has it's own quirks where it stops a bit of short of perfection with some design choices and software sloppiness. But if this laptop lasts without problems like my previous ones for 3-4 years, I will be happy to have owned it. It delivers on the right combination of specs.

All around great laptop

Needed a quick laptop replacement and supply chain issues meant options were limited... Reviews for this model looked promising and it was available for delivery within 48 hours so I took a chance and am very pleased with the decision! Laptop performs well all around for relatively typical office use, plus some photo/video editing, graphic and web design work. The ScreenPad takes a bit of getting used to, but does come in handy as a second screen for working remotely and video calls/conferences.
As other reviewers have stated, this laptop seems to be a magnet for dust and prints. It cleans up easily enough, but something about the metallic surfaces of this model makes them particularly prone to static and marking...

Came in great condition from the retailer and super fast! I was a bit worried since I wasn't familiar with the site but it as a positive experience. It was a easy and quick setup and I'm loving the experience so far! I may need to adjust battery settings to fix battery life but other than that I'm loving it. Also the screenpad is super interesting and fun to use.
