The grill would be much more portable with 4 wheels instead of two. I find it difficult to move. It also does not ignite as quickly as I think it should. I have to hold the button down for too long. On the plus side, it grills food very well with good marks and the light attached to the lid handle was a clever idea. Overall, quite good.
we had a Q300 for 16 years and thought it was just fine. the new version changed the way the grill ignites, how the utensils hang (products from Weber are now too big) and how the gas tank is supported all bad designs, the grates are hard to clean.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love my Q - don't like burner design

I have been a BBQ snob for many years. I ended up cooking on a Q3200 one weekend at a camp and just loved it. I purchased the same model shortly after. The only thing I don't like is not being able to turn off one side and do indirect heat. I wish the burner design was not the outside ring and straight across the middle. Other than that... love this BBQ. Love the grates and the flat top.
Best grill for me. This is my 3rd Weber Q3200. The grates are why I keep buying this grill. They last many years long that stainless steel. My 1st was exposed to the weather to much, my second just got old.
