I purchased this grill because we already own the Weber Q 1000, which is great. We purchased it about 10 years ago and have only had to replace the igniter. Our Q 3200, which we purchased about 1 year ago, hasn't lived up to the quality of the 1000. We have had to replace the grates and the thermometer. The grill has uneven heat with hot spots. The burner openings have burned larger than they were and there doesn't appear to be much gas control of the temperature as the flame on high isn't a great deal different than the flame on low.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Caution with the side tables

I loved my Q grill with the exception of the side tables ease of storage. The side table store inside the cover of the grill. Which I have melted twice warming up the grill for gas after a long winter. I forget that they are stored there. The last time my grill was ruined after complete meltdown of the side table inside the grill! Store & use with caution!!

Not satisfied with the cooking temperatures. The lowest temp I can get with just the small burner on is 300 degrees. I think the calibration of the unit is incorrect. I have cooked on it 3 times. Also the front plastic panel is so flimsy the wind wants to blow it off. Do not think it will last. rI love the size and the appearance of the grille. All of the components are quality and the assembly was very easy. This is my 7th Weber grille.

This is my 2nd Q3200. I needed some routine replacement parts (mostly due to my own lack of covering) and it worked out that it wasn't much more to just get a new one. I love the way this cooks, the second one works exactly like the firs and I am very happy with my purchase for the 2nd time!

You made the grill difficult to start by making the center burner too short. You are trying to start the grill by using the outer burner while keeping the igniter below the burner. Why did you shorten the center burner?

I LOVE this grill! It's perfect!

We have had this for about 5 years and the only part that I had to replace was the light and Weber happily sent a replacement. It cooks everything! I have never found it too small and we grill a lot. The warmer rack is great too. It cooks evenly and the the two burners makes it nice for Roasting as you just turn off the center burner. Iwish i could add my foil wrapped baby back ribs...oh my, to die for! I can't say enough good things about this Q!
