One of the best grills I’ve owned. Well built and good quality. Heats up fast and holds temperature well. Love the drip pan placement and easy to clean grill.
This is my second Q grill. I had my first one just short of 15 years, with only a couple of parts replaced. I finally passed my old one along to our son, who continues using it regularly. This time I got a cover for it (highly recommended). Improvements that I really like: The igniter works better than the previous design, and the light is a great addition (didn't really expect to use it, but it's been a great help). The rest of it is pretty much like my old model, and that's the way it should be (ain't broke - don't fix it). It is a VERY durable grill, and will probably be the last one I'll ever have to buy. The ability to get replacement parts from Weber is a huge benefit when it comes to long term use; it's very rugged, but you're still going to have parts that wear and burn in a high heat environment. Preventative maintenance to keep it going at its best.
It’s a great grill! Love the size and light. We had a smaller Weber on a stand before which was easy to manoeuvre. If you can leave this BBQ stationary, it would be perfect! It can be cumbersome with the tank to move it in and out if the garage.
My first impression, when unpacking, was quality. The assembly instructions were easy to follow. The grill is sturdy and easy to maneuver on the patio. The grill preheats quickly, the food cooks evenly and the taste of the food is great. The design of the grill is the reason. The oval shape, with the side vents, really does cause the heat to circulate, which makes a better grilling experience. I'm a believer in the Q3200!
This is my second Q3200. Works just as well as the first unit. Comes up to temperature quickly (less than 10 minutes to reach 500F). Maintains high temperature throughout the cooking session. The porcelain coated grill works well. I think it adds a lot of thermal inertia to the unit. It takes more care than a a stainless steel grill, but this is a minor detail. I usually scrape it off with a piece of soft wood before gently brushing it off with a wire brush. Otherwise the unit is much much easier to clean than the larger Weber grills. The heating is even and easy to control by playing with the two burners. Overall, a fantastic product.
