One cannot say enough good things about this grill. I have been a Weber customer for life. Oddly one of the grill knobs keeps breaking but Weber (maybe they know something) always sends 2 knobs. So other than being a customer service (they are great) I have no complaints.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought the S-470 years ago, I forget how many. I bought it online and didn't think I would ever get it assembled. It has meet every expectation and through its use I have become a better grill master. I recommend that you keep up with any maintenance items as they come up. I put off all repairs until this spring. It's been a slog and very expensive replacing flavor bars and their anchors, ignition switches for lights and side burner and a new manifold. I cross threaded the main gas line into the manifold and had to order that as well. My grill is as good as new and I ready to start grilling again. I've had no problems with the finish, stainless steel is perfect.

Great Grill still after 8 years

We bought this grill in May of 2012. We have hosted barbecues with more than 60 people on it, and cooked numerous family meals. The cover blew off the grill in the first year and I never bought another, yet it is in great shape. It nearly always lights on the first try, but if not, it lights on the second try.
significantly easier to put together than i was anticipating. gorgeous grill with a ton of features. pricey, but worth every penny.

I purchased this more than ten years ago. I use it about three times a week. I often don’t get it covered and it has held up beautifully. Weber Support is AWESOME! On two occasions in ten years they have provided me with replacement part, all at no charge, that’s great warranty support.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Knobs split repeatedly

Grill works great and looks great but I guess I need to use vise grips to turn it on and off since the plastic knobs keep splitting on the center stem. 4th set, look online you will see plenty more people with the same issue,Had a Genesis natural gas before no issues but this is the last Weber product for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
