The only thing that I do not like or understand is when you make a single cup and put the amount of water for the size cup. There is always water sitting inside leftover
After buying 3 Keurigs in a row and being unhappy with all of them (returned them), we decided to try Cuisinart. I have always loved my Cuisinart applicances and love the coffee maker. We have just made pod coffee so far, but look forward to having the brewed coffee pot.
This purchase replaced my older Cuisinart coffee maker with hot water dispenser. I decided the ability to use a single serve pod would be more practical. That has proven itself to be true. I really like the new machine for another reason....it is easier to fill with water without spilling. Whether it has a larger opening or the coffee pot pours better....I don't know, but I'm a happy camper.
It is a great Coffee Center. The last one we had the warmer plate rusted hopefully this one will not. That is the only downfall. I had friends and family that had the same thing happen to them.
This coffee maker is easy to use, and so convenient to be able to make a full pot of coffee or just a single cup of coffee. I was hopeful that the coffee made in the single cup section would be hotter than my previous Keurig ever offered but it is not. That’s really my only disappointment.
Needs a larger water reservoir WITH a see-though water level guide for the single brew side..or better yet..have ONE big reservoir that serves BOTH FUNCTION (Carafe brew & single k-cup brew)!! Also, would be nice to have 4oz & 6 oz brew options in addition to the 8, 10 & 12oz.
We use the single serve side 90% of the time for our travel mugs & the carafe side on weekends. We are only able to fill two 20 oz travel mugs & must refill the water. I also use the single brew side for hot water for my tea must REFILL the reservoir a total of 3 to 4 times every single day!
And...because the single brew water reservoir has no see thru water level guide...i have to use a FLASHLIGHT to make sure I don't OVERFILL it, in which the water spills out thr keyhole in the back! The "max fill" line is barely visible to the naked eye & being the it's printed down inside the reservoir AND in the rear of the machine...the only way to ensure I dont overfill is to use the FLASHLIGHT!!
Should have stuck with just a single brew k-cup coffee maker, like we had been using for years...instead of the dual style.
Cuisinart's products are normally built with decent options. NOT THIS ONE!!!
