This is a great addition to my kitchen. I love that it offer the choice to brew a single cup of coffee or a pot of coffee for multiple people. It is very easy to use, the coffee is hot, and delicious.

While i usually only make 4 cups, it is great to be able to serve a group and use the 12 cup capacity. The Kcup feature is wonderful when you just want a quick cup for one! I have used it to brew tea as well. Such a versatile machine! I was surprised the filter is cone shaped but other than that it makes the same great coffee i expect from Cuisinart.

I gave up on the famous K cup brand for many reasons. This is my second Cuisinart but by far the best. Its easy to use, easy to clean and the coffee comes out HOT for a nice change. I keep the warmer on for 3 hrs and the coffee never tastes burned. I wish it had a reservoir instead of a fill per cup in pot size. But its easy to fill. The Customer service is 5 star. I had a problem and they fixed it in a way that I probably didnt deserve.

We’ve had this coffeemaker for two months and the heater plate paint has all peeled off. We take meticulous care of our “stuff” so we were surprised. Also not enamored that there is no way to measure how much water is in the pod chamber.

No fill glass for k cup side. Has overflow hole in back you can’t see where water comes out if you overfill. Makes a huge mess if you don’t catch it. Brews ok. K cups can put grounds in your cup. Not sure if it’s the brewer or the k cup. Yes I have cleaned it. All in all it’s ok. Don’t think I’d buy again.

I purchased a SS12 brewstation about a year and a half ago, after about 3 months the pod side of the machine started malfunctioning. I contacted Cuisinart and after many emails, sending videos etc. I was asked to send the unit back, which I did. It was another 4 months before I received the replacement so I had to purchase another pod type machine while I was waiting. The replacement seems to be working for now. We'll see how it goes.
