First coffee pot ordered leaked, set it back and received another one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this coffee center. I'm a man who loves his coffee, and I like my coffee to come easily in all settings, whether I'm sitting with a large group or with my partner. This coffee center makes having coffee easy in all those settings. We can prepare a single serving quickly, or we can prepare a pot of coffee for a group. You can even do both!
The coffee is good, and that's good. But there are some issues that we haven't resolved: The issues we have had: 1. the height of the appliance...too tall to use under our wall cabinets and it must be pulled out every time it's used. That's ok in most kitchens, which have an open counter near an outlet, but it is not good in our very compact one. 2. the fact that it never dries out inside, yuck 3. the teeny one-mug size water reservoir for the k-cup side. I wish one larger reservoir served both carafe and k-cup. Also the k-cup side reservoir lid is easy to misplace. 4. The buttons are not self-explanatory and the placement of the buttons makes them hard to read in our kitchen's lighting (my elderly husband's pet peeve)
I was so excited to get this. I have worked in the restaurant industry for most of my adult life and Cuisinart has always been a high standard. And since my husband and I have different needs for coffeee(he can drink from the pot all day or will make a thermos for work, I prefer one cup at a time), this coffee machine seemed like the perfect compromise for both carafe and k-cup. I shopped around extensively before settling on this model and was super excited when it was delivered. But I have to say that after using this for several weeks, we are HUGELY disappointed. I was already concerned about the apparent lack of quality in the design(it is VERY lightweight and almost completely plastic) as I was used to Cuisinart products being very heavy duty, but the name is synonymous with quality so we tried not to let that deter our enthusiasm. However, after using this for several weeks, we are sure we will never purchase another Cuisinart coffee machine. The paint on the burner is already peeling off, and the plastic around the plate is warping/melting from the heat. The cover for the section where you pour the water in for the pod coffee dispenser section is also already warped. That section also has no way to see the water level(whereas the carafe side does) so I have to keep a measuring cup near the machine to measure and replace exactly the same amount of water that I dispense when using the K-cups, or it will overflow and leak everywhere. It is very sad for us that the quality of Cuisinart products has taken such a downward turn. I will upload pictures later as I am filling this out from work and did not take any yet...look for updates as soon as I am able.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coffee center by Cuisinart is the nicest coffee pot I have ever owned. It fits on the counted and didn’t take up to much space. The single cup option also is great when you are in the go. I love making coffee in the pot.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I came by the Cuisinart Coffee Center one day when I was out shopping and have been debating purchasing the "Cure-ig" lol. I ended up purchasing the Cuisinart because when I have company it takes forever to make individual cups per person and the Cuisinart gives me the ability to serve myself on a daily basis and serve company when I have people over. I'm living the double coffee life!
