Had the Coffee Center Brew Basics for less than a month when the single cup section stopped heating the water. Still don't know when the replacement unit will be shipped.

Best of both worlds! I used reg carafe over thanksgiving when I had company. Worked great and the coffee was super hot. K-cup side works great too and super hot! Would highly recommend!

Few important nitpicks. The carafe reservoir is difficult to pour into without spilling water all over the place given that there is a major obstruction (the coffee machine lid hinge) right in the middle of it. The carafe water gauge should be in the front of the machine for easy viewing (not on the left side) as you are filing the reservoir.

Overall I really like this coffee maker, but it would be nice to have some features from stand alone coffee makers. For example, the pods side of this machine doesn’t have a water level or indicator that water is low. Also, I would be nice to make coffee in both sides at the same time.

I have had Cuisinart coffee makers before and they have always worked great. I like the versatility of this machine to use carafe or k-cups - but it leaks water every time, which is very disappointing.
