I have been wanting this combination coffee maker for over a year and when my old machine died, I purchased this one. I got 5 individual cups of coffee from it and then it quit working. What a disappointment. I returned it and got a Keurig, which is what I had before, and it lasted for years. I was truly unhappy as I have many Cuisinart products and they haven't failed me. I will be doing extra thinking the next time I go for a kitchen accessory.

I was disappointed because it is difficult to see how much water is in the pod water holder. Many times it has overflowed. I have other cuisinart coffee pots and I love them. Very disappointed.

Love the combination carafe and single cup feature. I would have given 5 stars but it is difficult to see how much water is in the reservoir for single serve. You must be taller than your counter and coffee maker to look in reservoir to see the water level

I bought this because I want to have the single serving brew as an occasional option.
Had I wanted to use it every day I would have just bought a single serving brewer.
So my problem is that unless you use it every day the water just sits in the reservoir and gets old, this is a horrible design flaw. Also pouring the water in both sides is very awkward.
