It works, not sure why it has a glass door. I have a temp gauge inside and the temp has held steady. There is no gauge included so you are expected to guess the appropriate setting. I haven't had it long enough to give it an accurate assessment. The three standard bottles I have put in it have all fit with no issue. It is compact and pleasing enough to look at. It looks like the door hinge can be reversed, although nothing is mentioned in the manual. The longer it lasts, the better the value.

The unit is nice, but the one flaw I wish I knew before I purchased was that it only tells you the target temperature and not the current temperature. The unit I’m replacing did both which is needed to know whether there is an issue. If the current temperature is not the target, that is critical to keeping the wine safe. Since they have a lot of info about how the two may not be the same given the ambient room temperature, I was amazed to see they don’t provide the actual temperature.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The wine cooler works well and is very attractive. I wanted a refrigerator for white wines because they are too tall for the space available in my big fridge. I did some research and learned it’s best to use a wine cooler/fridge because regular fridges are too cold and can effect the flavor of your wine.
