[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the refurbished version and while I think this could be a great computer that would meet my needs, this refurbished one is turning into a nightmare. Constant fan noise. I sent it back. They say they replaced the fan. First day back up and running .... constant fan noise and now the computer will shut down for no reason. I needed a reliable working laptop and trusted Lenovo to provide me with one. Still waiting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The laptop works great for everyday work. The screen is a great size and the laptops hasn't slowed even when doing some casual video editing. I expect it'll work great for a long time. The only downside is the battery which lasts as long as you might think for an 8-hour battery (a little less because it's not in perfect conditions) but is otherwise the ideal laptop.

My dad got me this laptop for Christmas because I couldn't yet afford my new school computer and I have fallen in love with it. It's so much faster than my old HP laptop and it'll definitely come in handy when I get back into classes soon! I can't speak highly enough about it honestly. I was upset at first about not getting a MacBook but this computer is seriously amazing. I love it so much!
