[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this laptop. Once I got it all set up I’m very happy with it. The screen quality is very nice and I love the keyboard. It seems to be very fast and doesn’t
lag. My only complaint with this product was the set up. I bought Microsoft office and Norton virus protection with it. It wasn’t clear weather or not these applications were preinstalled or not. I ended up installing Norton which caused lots of problems for my computer BC the computer had already been preinstalled with MacCafee virus protection plan. These two systems were basically working against each other which took a long time to sort out. Also, it was not clear that windows had already been installed, so I ended up duplicating this as well. I think the set up instructions should be a little more clear regarding applications that might already be installed. Over all great computer, maybe just my fault on the set up but it would seem that clearer directions would help people that might not be super Tech savvy.

Charged it over night and installed all the updates and windows 11 the next day and learned how my new computer worked. My first Lenovo. The next day my screen kept going black whenever I used the touchpad. Contacted support and went thru the virtual assistant, email, and then the service request. Immediately got a text with a link to contact a representative. Ciara was wonderful and thorough! Computer fixed while I stayed at home and she downloaded a fix. Thank you Lenovo! Yes as they stand by their product and support you to keep things running. Pulse I have liked everything to work right away Yes BUT it was several days in transit passing thru so many ports and distribution centers. Understand and appreciate the support that gets you going without having to take it somewhere or return. Thank You Lenovo

Going from Edge 2 to ThinkPad

I do enjoy the quick startup and the key board is very responsive. I am switching from a 6 year old Lenovo Edge 2 that has been great.
Excited to learn what I can do with my new ThinkPad! Need to download the manual.

Damaged upon receipt

When I had received the Laptop,I experimented my first hardware issue of backlight bleeding as I turned on the laptop for the first time. I reached out to Lenovo who sent me a box the next day. I am awaiting the return and outcome.
The laptop was secure in shipment in air bag.
I do graphic work and the bleeding will help on production.
I am hoping that they do q/a before deployment.
I would recommend this to a friend!
