Overall a great laptop but not enough ports for a business use environment. I had to buy a dock so add that in to your cost if you plan to use it for work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use it for two weeks and so far better than dell precision I currently have. I have thinkpad befor I moved to Dell due to high price. Now I got a good promo and price. Very light and touch screen becomes so useful. Monitor is very clear and finger print is excellent. Sleep did not work originally but Fn + 4 did the trick. Overall an excellent laptop.

Great Laptop with some nagging issues

Overall I am pleased with this laptop. I have had it for 6 mos now. It is snappy fast, good screen. I like the keyboard better than the "chiclet" keys found on other laptops and it has the 10 key I use a lot in Excel. It gets warm to the touch when charging, but not uncomfortable hot like some other laptops I tried. And the charge time is great.
It is a little heavier than some, but I drag this thing around all day between office and labs and I like the milspec rating and the solid feel.
The battery life is not the greatest among the competition, but I knew that when I bought it and so far have had no problems with battery life.
There are two things that keep this from 5 stars. First, the fingerprint reader is hit or miss. When I open the lid in the morning, no reader. I usually have to open/close the lid a couple of times before I can log in. The other minor annoyance is Lenovo likes to push BIOS updates. I have had more BIOS updates on this laptop than I had on my last 2 over 8 years. The BIOS update frequency is annoying. The failure of the fingerprint reader keeps this at 4 stars.
Overall, happy with the laptop. I hope I can get years of service out of this one.
