Alright but some poor elements

I used to have the clip 3 and this one definitely sounds pretty good as well, but it doesn’t get very loud. My biggest complaint is that the rubber pieces on the back come off easily and are nearly all gone on mine. This doesn’t affect the sound or design much but it’s just frustrating and makes the product seem a little poorly made.

The JBL CLIP 4, does not disappoint!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL CLIP 4, does not disappoint! It gets very loud for the size and the midrange and highs are very crisp. The bass is decent, but it's not going to shake any windows I have owned several JBL products over many years and have never had an issue, and I definitely do not anticipate having one with the Clip 4, as the new products keep getting better! The quality as always seems very solid, rubber trim on the bottom keeps it from moving or rattling at high volumes, and the size is perfect to take on the go. It connects automatically when you turn it on, can control tracks and volume right from the speaker, waterproof can take to the pool, or shower…this thing is simply awesome. I wish it had a speakerphone option, but other than that is perfect!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bluetooth will not stay connected

Thanks for reaching out. Bluetooth range is normally up to about 10 meters. More than that the signal will get unstable. You can try to reset your JBL Clip 4. In Power On mode, press and hold 'Volume+' together with 'Play/Pause' for more than 10 seconds on Clip 4. The speaker will power off and is now reset. Lacking in features / fails fast

I was given the Clip4 as a present. I was a little disappointed when I realized it doesn't support speaker phone functionality nor does it have the ability to control source media like any other BT speaker I have purchased. This would be fine for someone that only wants to listen to music but misses the functionality most digitally informed users are looking for such as knowing how much battery life is left. On the plus side I am already aquatinted with support because it stopped working after my initial testing.

Uh..... this baby was left outside for 2 weeks, survived multiple thunderstorms, and STILL sounds perfect! Best part... this is the second time we've done this. If you're looking for rugged durability and a speaker that's very forgiving, this one's for you!
