I bought this hp laptop to use for zoom meetings. I had been using my iPad and had no problems. Now my HP laptop is difficult to zoom because it freezes sound & video when someone speaks. I was told that I freeze up when I speak. It’s very annoying so I hope I can figure out something soon.
I am very happy This computer is very light and easy to move. And the panel touch is very light. The screen is displayed large. Now I'm free from the hassle of the computer I used before. Thank you.
Purchased 14t with i5 processor, backlit keyboard and the optane memory option. Boot up speed is very fast, screen is a good size and small bezels make it compact.
The problem is the backlit keyboard. By default, it times out very quickly. You can turn it off entirely, but there's no option, even in the BIOS, to change the time-out setting or change it to always on. If you're typing something long it's probably not an issue, but if you're trying to go back and forth at all you'll have to wake the keyboard up every 15 seconds. It's not the end of the world, but it's annoying because of how counter-intuitive it is. If they only wanted to give the user two options, shouldn't those options be "On" and "Off"; not "Off" and "Shuts off every 15 seconds"?
I love the 14” screen that my laptop sport. The color, perfect, I love the keyboard, and how smooth my typing is when I depress the keys to type. I love the the feel under my fingers.
I’m in IT and recently bought HP PorBooks for my company and I wanted a laptop for myself that was similar. This one has power on ther right side which is what I was looking for. The keyboard doesn’t have a number keypad, but it is a 14”, so it was expected. The keys have larger print than my keyboards at work so that is also nice. Overall, this is a great laptop which is better than the one I had before.
