DO NOT BUY! RFID reader!

GE puts RFID readers in their fridge to stop people from using counterfeit water filters.
And when this RFID reader fails, it stops you from using genuine GE water filters.
This means you can't use YOUR fridge which you paid for to dispense WATER or ICE unless you pay them hundreds of dollars.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Refrigerator !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a horribly designed fridge, and I would not recommend it to anyone. The top retractable shelf is the biggest problem because it does not have a locking feature and is easily bumped and moves, causing anything that is on that part of the shelf to come crashing down to the floor. Be careful with your review, as well, because GE censors your reviews.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our first side-by-side refrigerator, and we’re really enjoying how easy it is to access all our food and items. It keeps my veggies and fruits surprisingly fresh, and I love the multiple ice options (crushed, cubed, etc.) along with the adjustable water temperature settings. Having so many compartments make it so much easier to keep everything organized, and overall, the refrigerator feels very spacious. I Love it!
