GE Profile ice maker needs improvement

The ice maker crusher blades/ motor stopped working after 2 years. The ice maker wheel to push ice is plastic and struggles to move ice and push it out. Frost is also formed inside the ice maker component. Will repairs cost more than purchasing a portable ice maker?? Serial MM 426166 (Model PZS22MSKKHSS)

okay fridge terrible water and ice dispenser.

poor water and ice Despenser design. Springs randomly fell out of water and ice dispenser paddle making the seal for the icecube shoot gapped causing excessive frost build up. also the missing spring causes water to drip when you're done dispensing water. I've replaced the solenoid valves or water comes into the refrigerator twice. at least I got a free solenoid valve because the second one failed within a year of the first one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A constant loud hum on this appliance. Huge crash when the icemaker empties Not a perfect counter depth Noisy waterline to icemaker noise

Ice maker auger continues to break.

The ice auger keeps breaking, I have to replace it twice a year. I’m not a plastics engineer if there isn’t a resin capable of withholding cold temps you should use a different material. I found a piece of plastic in my glass.

LED lights have issue
