At times the noise from the refrigerator sounds like an airplane taking off! Turned off ice maker and took out ice pan which improved noise - but now no ice!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A good looking sleek refrigerator.

The 2 LED lights are fantastic in illuminating everything I am looking for.. I have another brand I moved to the garage that is missing a butter compartment , cheese drawer and hydrator drawer so this arrangement is a great addition of space. MY 28 YEAR OLD SIDE BY SIDE G.E. PROFILE WAS STILL WORKING. WATER AND ICE MAKER STILL WORKING AND IN THE TEXAS HEAT OF THE GARAGE FOR DECADES. Really like this new one.. hope it lasts. !!!

Hi - Thank you for having purchased this gorgeous GE Profile refrigerator. We are very happy to assist you. The temperature controls for both the fresh food and freezer compartments are located on the dispenser control panel on the outside of the freezer door. You can utilize the up and down arrows on the panel to adjust the desired internal temperature for each compartment.
