Great Features

Only had it a week, but we really like this refrigerator. Wish the display had been backlit so it could be seen and used in low light. We use the display light, but you still can't read this display in low light conditions. In the photo, there's actually a light from the window across the display.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This GE Profile refrigerator replaced my 15 year old GE Monogram refrigerator. The Monogram gave us a lot of trouble, icing up the fridge wall nearest the freezer. In spite of this, I decided to stay with the GE brand because I do like the interior configuration. So far, I am very pleased with the functioning. Another improvement is that upper lighting does not interfere with the storage space as in the past.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Needed a counter depth

It was just installed today thus time will tell about performance and quality. We had a 25 cubic foot side by side profile in a kitchen that was designed for a counter depth unit. The replaced unit was 19 years old and still working but the counter depth unit makes the area look and feel so much larger. Satisfied with the new look.

For a new refrigerator GE already had to replace fan and has tripped electrical switch twice

Can’t use the ice maker

If the ice maker is on then food in the fridge freezes and then it makes a really loud noise. Brand new fridge.
