I love the counter depth refrigerator. Still plenty of room inside. I used to have a lower freezer and I'm so glad to have the side by side layout instead. It's so much easier to find things!

I have had this same model refrigerator for 15 years, and it was great. I like the GE brand, has always been dependable for me. We just received this one and I am totally impressed with how VERY quiet it is.

Almost Perfect

This is my second profile side by side. The first one lasted 20 years. There seems to be less room in this one, although the cubic space is the same. The first shelf in the fridge section is lower than my old one was, which makes the other shelves all closer, and the shelf that converts to a half shelf has a bar underneath it for the conversion mechanism and that makes the space between shelves even tighter, so I had to buy a standard shelf to replace it with, but it’s back ordered until who knows. I guess everyone else realized the problem and had to do the same thing. This fridge is pricey enough without spending another $50+ to make it more user friendly. I also notice a light frosting in the freezer, especially in the draws, and don’t know if that’s entirely normal, because my old one didn’t do that either. We bought this same model for our son who just bought a house without a fridge, because overall, I think it’s a well built refrigerator with a separate generator for each side, so less wear and tear for the generator trying to operate both fridge and freezer. Love the new lighting and the fingerprint-proof finish, too. It’s quiet, much quieter than other brands we investigated.

Switched from my GEProfile Artica to a counter depth Profile- what a different look in my kitchen! I love it! The lighting is so nice & bright! I was afraid it would be too small but it’s just fine! Makes me keep track of contents of fridge much better- nothing can hide!!
