better than expected

I bought this refrigerator 5 months ago to replace its 20 year old version. It was still working but, as it did from day one, froze food in the back of the shelves. Not a fan of side by sides, but it was the refrigerator that fit my space. Unlike earlier models the water and ice don't taste like plastic. I need to replace the water filter a month earlier than expected, but otherwise, it's working fine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Doesn't seem like it will last long

This fridge came with our new construction home. It looks good and works fine but I don't get the impression that it's very durable. The fridge door closes so lightly I often wonder if it's closed all the way. Also the doors are uneven and the freezer door is about an inch higher than the fridge door. The freezer ice maker is a bit weak when getting crushed ice. Overall it came with the house so we're happy with it for now but we're not expecting it to last for decades.

Great fridge!

We’ve only had this refrigerator a couple months, but so far we love it. It’s much quieter than the older model and keeps a constant temperature. For a counter depth frdge, it has plenty of space in both compartments and both sides light up well enough to find everything inside easily.

Good looking, compact refrigerator

Purchased for a new kitchen and needed a modest "counter depth" style. Much prefer side-by-side, so this is an excellent choice. Works well, holds more than expected. Filtered water is great; filter already lasts longer than previous make.

Love how it looks, kinda small

I had to buy a counter depth refrigerator due to available space from existing refrigerator but I have to say, the interior of this one is way smaller than my previous counter depth which was not a GE. I like the looks of the frig and I like that the refrigerator has its own cooling system and it doesn't use the cooler from the freezer which tended to freeze foods on the top two shelves of my old frig. Also, the interior lighting is bright and the water/ice dispenser is easy to use (you don't need a manual to figure out how to work it). Drawback with stainless steel...fingerprints...ugh. Wish I would have gotten the slate color which wouldn't have shown the smudges. All in all, I'm happy so far.
