Fits our kitchen counter depth

Our old GE Profile lasted for 16 years. We needed to replace it with another Profile so that the kitchen cabinets didn't require modification. The new refrigerator is functioning perfectly. We are very pleased.

The refrigerator came with the house. It is sufficient for our daily needs. We use a second one for more storage..

Does not compare favorably with '04 Profile Artica

Interior lighting does not illuminate lower bins in refrigerator section...previous model had lighting at back of each bin. Opaque finish on bins in freezer make it impossible to see contents. Seem to have less storage area than the previous counter-depth GE Profile Artica. Installers insist unit is balanced/level but 'fridge door swings back hard against wall unless held in place.....have to manipulate adding/removing items with one hand while holding door.....minimal storage weight in door, so that is not cause of problem. Ice maker is very flimsy & fill is very noisy. All-in-all, this unit is poor substitute for '04 version.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Everything works as advertised from the first day. Looks good with our other Profile Series appliances. The no-spill shelves kind of restrict the amount on each shelf due to the ridge all around, but still plenty of room for everything.

Beautiful refrigerator

Just had this model installed today by GE contactor. Installation went smoothly and professionally. Refrig has a lovely appearance and replaces 8+ year old GE Profile. In process of waiting 24 hrs for refrig to achieve factory cold settings. No temps showing on front door readout panel at this time, but in hope temps will appear when system reaches factory settings.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fridge is nice and bright w lighting,quiet,multiple options for storage. However, fridge drawers are very compact especially for the freezer which we like to store bulk and have extra space and this fridge didnt allow us to store much.
