In the beginning it was great...but not now

It worked perfectly for a long time I've had it about a year now and for the past few months, it is constantly dropping my signal. I use it with my sim card from my provider. I constantly have to reboot the orbi. It is EXTREMELY frustrating. Really disappointed and it's pretty expensive to just get rid of.

All NETGEAR products come with 90 days of complimentary technical support, and 1 year of hardware replacement warranty. If you are beyond the 90 days of complimentary support and you need additional technical support you will be asked to purchase an extended support contract, but if the device has failed and needs to be replaced you will not be charged for the support call, since this is covered under the hardware replacement warranty.

I love the LBR20 from the Orbi family. I live rural and this is a major upgrade from my old device. My family and I have no issues running devices simultaneously. Thanks Netgear!

Orbi Router

I purchased the Orbi router from an internet provider and they only offered me 2 routers which was both Orbi/Netgear routers. I went with the 4G instead of 5G and I’m happy with the performance. Overall rating for this router is it seems to be worth the money. I’m in the middle of nowhere and I haven’t had any issues.

inconsistent speeds

I've had this for a couple of months and the speeds can vary drastically. It can go from 2-5mbs to 20-40mbs depending. There is no way to lock the band on the device as you would a MOFI modem. I live right outside of town (population about 20k and outside of Baltimore) with cell towers nearby. My cell phone has no speed issues. I connected an external antenna and that helped a bit but have to restart the device often to get better speeds. Maybe my nearby towers are overrun or getting throttled but AT&T?
