The cover is meant to be used with the flaps open, but it will be good to save the grill with the flaps down or close, so it doesn't. take to much space, in that case the cover fits too big. Great that is water resistant so we'll never worry that it rains.

The cover does fit the model only when the side tables oar for storage folded up... nobody stores the Grill with open side tables.
The cover is thought as a replacement for the cover I bought the grill with which fits the grill with closed side tables... that cover model is not available anymore
