Does not fit the Q300/3000

I love the Q grill and own 3 of them for various places. I am so disappointed that I cannot get a proper cover for my Q300. The old one #6553 fit perfectly. This one is a generic cover that is some 20 inches wider. I can just use a tarp for the same effect. Not what I would have expected from Weber.

Read the reviews for above captioned item. We too would like to store our new Weber with wings down, outdoors and with higher grade materials. What other cover model do you suggest would work for Q3200 when wings are down?

I ordered this as a replacement for the original cover. The new cover is totally different. The material is thin and flimsy. It is much too big for the grill and has no handle on the top. Even with the velcro on the sides, it comes off when it is a windy.

Weber is the best HOWEVER, they most likely get their ‘cover’ from a cheap ‘out-source’.
I’d pay a premium for a well fitting (original) cover that allows the side panels ‘down’.
May as well go to ‘Omar the Tent’ salesman.

New/replacement cover not acceptable

Just bought our third cover and it is a one size fits all, too big with the side trays down. Will be looking elsewhere for a universal cover that fits the Weber grill better than Weber can offer. Why buy something we don't need? Weber slacking off.

High quality, limited fit

The quality of the material, like all Weber grill covers, is durable and resilient.
The fit - as noted elsewhere, is not accommodating if the side tables are folded down as they would probably be, after use.
Unlike some of the other reviewers reacting to this limitation, I found a relatively satisfactory work around, and that is to conn ct one left-side Velcro strap to one right-side Velcro strap across the front. It doesn’t look great but it secures the cover just fine.
I would suggest to Weber that rather than redesigning the entire cover, that it be fitted with matched Velcro straps in front and back. Then there’s a user upturn to use it with any configuration of the grill.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor Replacement Option

My original cover did not require the (2) shelves to be kept in the up position. This one does. I won't purchase a replacement until Weber does a redesign.
Go back to the original design!
