Better than the old one, won't scan QR code

We bought a Monogram Advantium 5 in 1 and single wall oven to replace our existing 17 year old ones. This is for the oven. Weirdly, there was no software update like there was for the Advantium. As well, when I used my phone camera to scan the card with the QR code it would not acknowledge it as it did fine for the Advantium. Its almost like this oven does not have legit numbers and QR code. We have yet to use it, but a plus is that it came with roller shelves, wheras the old did not. I assume the old one which Pulte put into their tract homes were 'builder specials' and on the cheaper side.
