I love the sleep monitoring

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the functions I have always been disappointed in on these kinds of devices, is that the sleep monitoring is very vague and unhelpful. The Halo is very different here. Sure, it has great features otherwise like exercise tracking, but the sleep feedback is amazing. It lets you know how long you are in different stages of sleep, how long it takes you to fall asleep. I am very happy with the product, and would certainly get it for someone else in my life.

Average activity tracker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Amazon Halo has a couple things going for it, but I would say it's just an average device among the activity tracking devices. First, I do like the look and feel of the bracelet itself. It's not flashy or uncomfortable. I usually don't like wearing anything on my wrists, but this is easy to wear and I didn't mind it. Second, the app does help me think about being active and motivate me to walk and exercise more. I have a desk job that I work from home, so it's good to have something to remind me to get moving. Those were the main things I liked, but there were some things that could be better. First, the app itself doesn't have a lot. some of the graphs and data don't really show much and I don't know how you'd gain any insights from it. One thing is the tone tracking. It tracks random conversations or things you say and shows you how people might perceive you. It's a great concept, but I found it hard to know what conversations it was talking about, or what specific phrases it was talking about. For example, I'd have it tell me that I was confident, energetic, and happy, but right after I was timid and angry, or disengaged. If the app finds a better way to show the data, this could be a good tool. As of now, it doesn't really mean much. Another thing is the band comes with a free 6 month period where you get all access for the data in the app. There is no way I'd pay for it after the initial 6 months. There's just no value in it. Why would you have a subscription if it's part of the product anyways? Lastly, the battery does not last long. You charge it one night, then you have a night you can wear it, then you have to charge it again the next. It doesn't seem very practical if you're tracking sleep.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter is a little over weight and she really wants to be more active. I gave this device to her and she got in love. She connected to her ipad and works perfectly. She can track all her movements and the part is that is waterproof so is amazing for her swimming time.

Good start for Amazon

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this for a couple weeks and I have to say that not having a screen is a little challenging for me. I do have an apple watch and find that alot easier to use. However this is an okay substitute for a lot less money. It has a lot of good data and a good start for Amazon. I do like that I can ask Alexa for the stats- however I have to be home to do so obviously. If it had a screen I think I would use it a lot more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are so used to seeing screens now and wearing fitness trackers that this seems to off. It doesnot have a screen to keep a track of your activities and u really need an app for that. It’s appreciable though that it keeps a tab on how much I walk and sleep but again to track it I have to always keep the app handy. While being a Apple Watch user I won’t recommend using it. But since Apple Watch doesnot track sleep this can. Anyone who doesnot want to wear something conventional this is for you! Also, I was planning to travel to India soon but I found out that India doesnot support halo app.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked this watch up a few weeks ago and I'm so happy I did. This product works perfectly as described. I'm able to see my heart rate and sleep patterns. I can get a lot of info from this watch to help me maintain a healthy lifestyle. This watch has really benefited my life.

I was skeptical, but it's great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll be honest...I was initially very skeptical about how much I'd like the Amazon Halo given I don't expect Amazon to be a hardware company, and I don't think of them when it comes to fitness bands. Boy was I wrong. The Amazon Halo is probably one of the most advanced bands on the market, as it uses AI to not only count steps, but has modes that evaluate your posture, your body fat percentage, sleep cycles, and even the tone of your voice in conversations during the day.
The band itself is a really nice water resistant fabric that sits comfortably on the wrist. The unboxing experience was premium. The product was super easy and quick to set up once I downloaded the Halo app, and tracking started immediately after a quick 30 minute charge.
Battery life has been solid, and charging is a breeze (and fast!). It seems to last 3-5 days on average depending on if you're using the Tone analysis or not (longer battery life comes when you disable or limit the feature).
My two gripes with the product are that it requires a monthly subscription cost after 6 months if you want to continue to use most of the AI features, and turning off auto-renew requires switching to a different app. The Amazon Halo also does not come with a power brick, so the included USB Type-A charger requires a laptop or power brick to use. Most of my power bricks take USB Type-C, so this was a bit of an annoyance for me.
Overall, for the price, this is a solid fitness band, and one I'm really excited about. In my few days of wearing it I've already seen myself walking more and taking breaks to stretch. I'd definitely recommend this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried using a number of products to track my sleep cycle and workout regiment, but have not found the right one for me. I have been extremely pleased with the functionality of this and love that it has the capability to track your body fat percentage!
