I have been using GreenPans for years. About six months ago, I purchased the two smaller frying pans of this Rio Ceramic style. I love them!!! They appear to be brand new. So, I decided to treat myself to the 12" size. It looks equally as beautiful and functions just as well.

Everything has cooked smoothly. My only complaint is the outside of the pan on the bottom- and a bit up the sides, isn’t able to be scrubbed clean. Looks ugly. Any recommendations?

This is a frying pan you cannot fry in. It gets ruined when you get it too hot but it’s very difficult to know how high is too high. I bought three pans and frankly wish I never did

Waiting to hear on PTFE content, if any

I bought the 12" Rio Frypan last week at my grocery store after seeing "TOXIN FREE", "FREE OF PFAS, PFOA, LEAD AND CADMIUM". It did not register with me at the time that no mention is made of it being free of PTFE (Teflon). Additionally when I came to this website I notice there is no mention of it being free of PTFE on the website, either.
I need to hear from the GreenPan. Company why there is no mention of these pans being PTFE (Teflon) FREE on the information that comes with the pan or on the website. The pan information says "The Original Greenpan". Is this the first pan the GreenPan company made when PTFEs (Teflon) might have been considered to be safe? Anyway, won't be using until I hear from the company about the PTFE / Teflon issue, and can't give it a better rating than 1 at this point, and the 1 is for this pan's beautiful aqua color.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pan is extremely versatile. Really amazing. If for whatever reason you do not want to have multiple pots and pans and prefer to own just one - please, seriously consider this pan.
Because it is large, and deep, and has a top, you can use multiple cooking techniques and always achieve great results. In this pan you can fry, deep fry, stew, steam and even in a pinch make soup; it is also perfect for risotto and pasta.
Two handles make this pan easy to lift and move, even when full. The non-sick surface is truly non-stick and this is my first time cooking on ceramics.
Very, very impressed, highly recommend.
